La Cate Figueres

La Cate is a non -profit Empordà cultural entity founded in 1921 that is headquartered in the building of the Catechistics Board, recognized as a Cultural Asset of National Interest by the Generalitat of Catalonia in 2015. The rationalist -style building consists of 5 spaces that are allocated to all types of cultural activities promoted by the different entities, associations and groups of the city of Figueres, which we call the 'Nurserário Cultural' de La Cate.

Em 2014, o Conselho de Catecísticas foi distinguido com a concessão das figuras Figueres Figuera por méritos em termos de espalhamento da cultura na cidade de Figueres. Em setembro de 2015, a construção do conselho foi concedida pela Fundação Docomomo, na proposta do College of Architects of Catalonia.
